Bristol Wedding Venue Guide - Thornbury Castle
Im Often asked by couples yet to set the date if I have a favourite Bristol venue. This is such a hard Question to answer. I could never get it down to just one Bristol wedding venue but I will start a list of some of my favourite.
So lets make a start with Thornbury Castle just north of Bristol. It's a venue with such character that lends itself to wedding photography. The grounds are beautiful 12 months of the year make a magical back drop. This inside is just as dramatic with it's twisting spiral stair cases and it's tudor windows. If you want history then this is the place for you with connection with a number of our Royals. The most famous has to be Henry the VIII and Anne Boleyn who stayed at the castle. Infant you can even stay in the very same bedroom as the royal couple. So if you are looking for a wedding venue in the Bristol area, take a look at Thornbury Castle.
Bristol Wedding Venue Guide - Wick farm
Wick farm is not far from Bristol just south of the Roman city of Bath. The main barn has been tastefully transformed into a wonderful wedding venue. The venue also has some lovey out buildings which are always great to use in my wedding photography. I love venues that give me as a wedding photographer, options and variety in places to take my photographs. Wick farm certainly delivers and is a joy to photograph at.
Bristol Wedding Venue Guide - The Grange Hotel
The Mercure Bristol North the Grange Hotel to give it it's full name is a wedding venue on the edge of north Bristol. A large hotel with lots of character making it a great option for you to hold your wedding at. There is lots of room inside and outside so no matter what time of year you decide to get married in you be sure to have a great time.
Bristol Wedding Venue Guide - Tracey Park
Tracey Park dates back to the 16th century and is so much more than just a golf course. A great building for a wedding with lots of lovely stone cottages within a few short yards of the the main venue. Within easy reach of Bristol if you decide to go with this wedding venue I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
Bristol Wedding Venue Guide - Tortworth Court
Tortworth court is a very well known wedding venue in the Bristol area. It has recently been taken over by the De Vere hotel group a name that goes hand in hand with quality. Since taking over they have spent some money adding some very nice touches to the hotel both inside and around the grounds. There are a number of rooms you can get married including a wonderful orangery that makes a spectacular setting for any wedding. This can be seen in this montage with the photograph in the middle at the bottom.
