Orchardleigh is a very large mansion house a few miles south of Bristol near to Frome. It's a venue that has everything you could possible need for your wedding. They even have their own church within the grounds for you to get married in. It's one of those venues where it's does not matter what the English weather throws at us because it's just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. I have spent many a cold winters days photographing weddings at this great venue with the open logs fire to keep me warm. With it being just outside of Bristol it may not be a venue you have considered but it you are looking for a grand venue then I would suggest adding it to your list to look at.

The second wedding venue to show at Priston is the Mill itself. A wonderful wedding venue just south of Bristol thats full of character and charm. The Gardens are a wonderful place to celebrate your wedding and if you are lucky with the weather you can even get married outside. The mill is split over three different levels and is full to the brim with history of this wonderful old Mill. The water wheel can still be seen working on the middle level and along with the stonework and exposed beams make for a great place chat with your guests whilst enjoying your big day. The staff as you would expect from one of Bristols top venues are professional and friendly from the moment you arrive until you are partying hard long into the night on the dance floor. 

One of Bristol best known venues is Priston Mill. They have two wedding venues side by side for you to choose from. The first I'm showing you is the Barn, a fantastic wedding venue that I have been working at for many, many years. It has changed a little from when I first started working there with more room being made available inside for you and your guests. As an added bonus it also means there is a lot more room inside if it's cold or the weather is not so nice outside. As a wedding photographer I always look at wedding venues from a photographers view point. Does the venue have nice grounds, what if it rains, is there room inside for photographs, well it's a yes yes for this wonderful barn. The montage I have decided to show you below is from a winter wedding where most of the photographs were taken inside including the large group one. As you can see this worked perfectly, taken from up high to ensure we can see all the wedding guests.
